Taliesin West the southwestern estate of Frank Lloyd Wright is located in north-east Scottsdale, Arizona.  This is the headquarters of the Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture (FLWSA).  Aris Georges full time Faculty at FLWSA collaborated with Josh Safdie Faculty at Boston Architectural College (BAC) on research design studio called “An Unfinished Sketch”

Simón De Agüero was the host and onsite collaborative participant in this wiki based class.  While the task of the BAC Course was to design a new studio for the FLWSA, Simon was assigned the task of investigating the programatic needs as they related to Taliesin West and the general use of every entity invested in the campus.

Master Planning and Managing a school campus is a complex challenge.  Compounded with the delicate issues related to paying the proper attention to historic preservation, the FLWSA is a rich environment for learning and applying historic restoration processes.
